Levy funded improvements would include improved safety and maintenance, a new playground, upgraded restrooms, enhanced parking lot maintenance, water efficiency upgrades, new practice lighting and field improvements on existing baseball / softball fields, additional pathways, and an opportunity to partner with Spokane Public Schools for additional public indoor recreation center improvements as a part of the Madison Elementary Replacement project.
Improves daily maintenance and management of existing parks through increased Park Operations staffing
Replaces or repairs every playground in need within Spokane parks, improving playground accessibility, and adding 9 new larger community park playgrounds
Repairs or replaces every restroom in Spokane parks, and adds restrooms to key locations
Key improvements include enhanced annual repair and improvement of damaged park infrastructure citywide including walkways, roofs, utilities, parking, lighting, etc.
Key improvements include sport courts, a new disc golf course and a pump track
Safer parks mean safer neighborhoods
Replaces approximately 175 acres of antiquated irrigation, all manual systems and several unreliable hydraulic systems with fully automated, high-efficiency systems
Build a facility that would co-locate a new Madison Elementary School and an enclosed, publicly accessible multi-use recreational facility adjacent to Franklin Park.
